FINALLY!

It took me long enough! Got lots of new things to blog this eve
and over the next few days. More posts after dinner. If anyone's

Shells and Flowers on my mind...

 

I do love my days off!

Varnished the shells last night...
Most of them look alot better and you can see a subtle enhancement
of tone and colour. I have also started experimenting with coloured gems.  
Pretty pleased with the outcomes so far but feel that I need to play around with 
them a bit more. I also worked on a number of hair accessory pieces too. Really like 
them so will post them when complete.

Also photographed alot of the jewellery I made before I went away
so that will be another perk for the week! These images will most likely
be up on Thursday.

A work in progress..

Once I get an idea in my head I become very single minded about it....



I simply couldn't help myself!
My two weeks off were spent collecting shells and stones along the beach.. .
I love the textures and the shapes, not to mention the colours and have started
sketching and photographing possible jewellery pieces. I will keep everyone
(By everyone, I mean my lovely 2 followers) posted.. But for now I've photographed
a few pieces below, mainly to get an idea of how they will look. My next quest is
varnishing to bring out the tones, then a spot of embellishing and a possible colour enhancement.
